Introduction to Computers

The Introduction to Computers course is an eight week class that teaches the fundamentals of a personal computer using Microsoft Vista . It provides hands-on training in the use of a mouse and the skills necessary to use Windows. No prior experience is required. The course is designed to help make the student feel comfortable using a computer. It also covers how a computer works.

Students learn the operations of Microsoft Vista. The course includes how to use Microsoft Works Suite 2007, and a word processor . Also covered is use of the Internet to search the web and send e-mail. Graduates of this course should be able to use a personal computer productively at home.

*Students must have completed this course before taking other courses.
